Easter Basket Give-Away
"This is the best Easter I ever had" shouted a little girl who attended Youth World for the first time on Saturday, April 19th, Easter Basket Outreach event.
629 Easter Baskets were created and lined across the stage as children anxiously awaited and enjoyed the Union Cathedral praise dancers, the Easter Story skit and prayer. After all 629 baskets were given, 2 little boys where left standing. Two empty baskets were found beside the stage, spider man eggs and toys enough to make 2 last Easter Baskets! 631 Easter Baskets for 631 grateful children. Wow, God is good. And He used many of you to make it happen for these kids. Thanks to all the donors and volunteers who gave their resources and time this Easter.
Special thanks to Pantego Christian Academy, Bob Stallings Hyundai, Union Cathedral, Students Standing Strong, and Gateway Next Level for reaching out to Youth World kids this Easter. Be sure and see all the photos on Youth World Dallas Facebook.

Spring Break Kick-Off Outreach
This event made a big impact on the 586 kids in so many ways. Every child attending received an abundance of groceries to take home for spring break week. While at Youth World they enjoyed grilled hamburgers, carnival games, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and music provided by DJ Plush. Mainly, they enjoyed lots of love from all the volunteers, in addition to great entertainment and character building messages from break-dancer extraordinaire, Regan Strand.
Thank you to sponsors and vendors for a tremendous day including: the Dallas Police, PAL, Dallas Baseball Alliance, Dancing Divas, Annette Praises, Gateway Church, Cargill Meats, Walmart, Target and Kroger.
