This is a trip to Target filled with generosity, hope and joy. Youth World kids fill the aisles of Target, ready to receive a blessing. Whether it be a Barbie, set of Legos or clothes for the winter, the shopping that takes place is more than just filling a cart. This trip fills the hearts of the children, keeping them warm for the winter.
Santa is here to visit, hot chocolate is served and a few elves even show up to say “hi!” This event is an opportunity to share the joy of Jesus to hundreds of families. The Youth World gym is filled with toys and elves, ready to create smiles for our kids. This Christmas is one these families will never forget, because this Christmas they were touched with compassion.
Valentine’s Day is coming, and Youth World is ensuring our kids feel valued and loved on this special day. Socks are a desperate need for so many of our kids. Name brand, sweet and fun cereal are a great desire for so many of our kids. This Valentine’s Day we equipped and loved the kids of south Dallas by meeting both needs and wants.
Youth World is building up leaders, sparking confidence and reminding teenagers that they are loved and worthy. Our Prom Dress Giveaway is an opportunity to speak identity into teenage girls while relieving what can be a big economic burden: prom dresses. The gym is filled with hundreds of prom dresses, shoes and jewelry. Youth World is filled with girls ready for a reminder that they are valued
As the warm weather approaches, we celebrate Spring and the transformation that takes place. This Spring we will be inspiring hope through carnival games, petting zoos and bounce houses. The joy doesn’t stop at the carnival, it rides home with the families in the form of groceries for a long Spring Break week. Relieving economic burdens is Youth World's passion, and the Spring Carnival is the outlet.
Our Spring Break Camp is an oasis for kids in need of somewhere to feel valued and loved. They find that through days full of fun activities, Bible stories, and time outside. Counselors rally together to create an atmosphere of life change, strength and joy. This oasis is one that goes past this building, one that sparks a change and rises this community up higher.
8,000 Easter eggs cover the Youth World grass filled with candy, but also filled with something more. These Easter eggs hold hope, inspiring families to dream bigger and expect more. Youth World Easter eggs have joy in them, covering children in laughter. The Easter eggs that are collected here are ones that raise families up higher and remind them of the life change that is available to them.
There’s a line out the door as 300 plus kids anticipate the moment when the Youth World doors open, ready for a summer that will both transform and inspire them. This is Summer Camp. This is when we give out hundreds of pairs of shoes, new eyeglasses, hundreds of backpacks, thousands of groceries and over 8,000 hot lunches. This is where life change begins, hope is planted and excitement is abundant.
Our passion is to impact the entire family. Mom’s Morning allows Youth World the opportunity to inspire hope within our moms, creating a stronger and healthier home environment. Each Mom’s Morning ends with a Blessing Store. At the Blessing Store, moms are gifted groceries and other household items, equipping their home to thrive.

We aspire for our community to rise up higher, this is why the Fall Carnival exists. Every fall, Youth World becomes a safe place for families in the south Dallas community to come together. Our gym fills with carnival games, face painting, photo booths and concession stands while the kids’ buckets fill to the brim with candy. No child leaves empty handed, and every parent leaves with a joyful heart and an abundance of peace.
Sweet smiles drive through the Youth World parking lot every Thanksgiving. With a parking lot full of cars, groceries and ready hearts, the Youth World team prepares to speak identity into the south Dallas community. Hundreds of families are blessed with Thanksgiving groceries and prayer. This event relieves economic burdens while inspiring hope.
